Meet The Board
Christiane is the Founder and Executive Director of Sensory Fun and Playroom, one of few local facilities that specifically cater to the needs of families with children that have various disabilities. She is also the Chief Executive Officer of Sensory Awareness Education & Outreach, INC a local charitable organization that caters to the community of these families.

Christiane is an early childhood educator that began working with children at a very young age. She has an Associate in Early Childhood Education from Ivy Tech Community College. A Bachelors of General Studies from Indiana University, and some graduate studies in Special Education from Ball State University.
While pursuing her education Christiane worked for more than 15 years with preschool children, in her own home child care facilities, some with Autism, ADHD, among other disabilities. She is a wife and mother of four, of which her youngest child has an intellectual disability that caused her to think outside the box. This life circumstance inspired her pursuit to provide a safe space for children that have special needs, their families, and a therapeutic environment for therapists to work one on one with those children.
These efforts have inspired her and her board of directors to offer outreach opportunities, educate the public, about the struggles those with a disability face, and help impoverished communities. All which continue to drive Christiane's passion to make a difference in our community.

These organizations work hand in hand and these are the Board members that are dedicated and committed to helping it succeed.
